Now that Lent is here, I came up with so many ideas of what to do.
The first one was to do with Food. I would discipline myself and eat only what would be good for a healthy body.
Needless to say, I was tempted and failed.
The second one was to do with a Positive Spirit.
I like this one better as each day presents us with so many opportunites to overcome ourselves and put the interests of others first.
After some more failures, I began to realise that what God loves most is a good-hearted person.
So, why not give HE who loves us so much, what He desires most.
This has become my saving grace, desiring to have a good heart.
Failures often teach us about ourselves and help us to become a more rounded person.
A good hearted person is one who can find a positive side to all that happens, both to themselves and others.
What a lovely way to better ourselves, to be of good heart!
