Mind of God

At times, to trust another person can be both an invitation and a challenge.
Most people have good will and are open to caring and sharing and making life easy for others.
Yet, perhaps the one we ought not to trust is ourselves.
Because we have a natural love for ourselves, we may not always see the truth of a situation.
We are biased.  Our self-love can show us things from a distorted angle.
In a way, we are our own worst enemy and yet we can also be good to ourselves.
God has such a huge part to play in our lives, if we let Him do so.
The more we allow God to be our guide and mentor,  the easier our lives will be.
Imagine, we can have the Mind of God guiding us each day of our lives, simply by asking!

Do what is right.

I was at my Writers night and we discussed poetry and poems.
Then real life stories came into play. We were made aware of how tragedy can come about when good people are silent and don't do what is right.
So, how is it with me?  Am I true to what I know to be right, regardless of the opinions of others.
When it comes to standing before God and my whole life being revealed to me in a flash, will I be able to say, 'I was always willing to do what is right.'
I believe if we have the good-will then God will be more than willing to lend us a helping Hand, even beyond our understanding.

Enjoy Life.

One of the most important things in life is to enjoy it.
Enjoy who we are. Enjoy where we are. Enjoy what we do.
It's so easy to get caught up with difficulties and perhaps things going wrong etc.
We have a choice.  It's up to us to choose...
Do I really want to be happy?
Am I willing to look for the bright side of life?
Can I develop a positive attitude to life?

Yes.  Positive choices make for an enjoyable life.
